The iPad is more portable than a netbook, and the latest version is even thinner and lighter than the original one. You can surf the web, email, read books, play games, and watch movies. There are many specialized apps available, like Pages and Numbers which you can use for documents and spreadsheets.
A physical keyboard can be bought separately, which includes a stand for the iPad and a charging dock, so the iPad can be used at your desk as well as on the move. Although the iPad features a large touch screen keyboard, the physical keyboard will be useful for those who do a lot of writing and typing.
The iPad is more than just a gadget of the season. It is a useful tool for users who need to keep track of their lives while on the go. The games and entertainment features may not appeal to business users, but the kids will certainly love them.
